SSVVS Kendram was inaugurated on 18th Nov, 1999 in the premises of Sivaji Sphoorthi Kendram, Srisailam and later on 14-12-2002 it was shifted to its Own Premises at Gokavaram< (Land and Construction of Buildings Donated by Late Sri G.Pulla Reddy, Kurnool).

Introduction

This center is intended to plan and execute welfare schemes for the benefit of Tribal Communities. In this connection a small group of us went round about 20 tribal villages. Our preliminary survey revealed that the Chenchu are badly in need of development when compared with the Society around. This promoted us to plan a dedicated effort, to take care of their welfare and thus SSVVS Kendram came to Existance for the upliftment of the Cenchus.

Our Preliminary survey revealed that they lack cultural cohesion,self-confidence and Awareness. Inorder to boost up all these Qualities we conducted several events. Starting with the chidren's education - Bhaktha Kannappa Gurukulam(BKG) and Vocational Training, then Awareness Camps, Mobile Dispensary etc are the works undergoing. T.B Eradication and Distribution of Nutritious food are also conducted in all the chenchu gudems.
