Awareness Camps
In the year 2001, Eight (8) awareness camps in kurnool dist, for the benefit of chenchu's living in 36 gudems, in which 177 chenchus participated, with the financial assistance of CAPART.
T.B Eradication
An Anti-TB treatment drive has been taken up since March 2005 which includes regular TB checkups, camps, as well as treatment initiatives from District TB control society, as a result of Sevabharathi efforts.
Distribution of Nutritious Food
2005-06 and 06-07, Seva bharati has taken up the compaign against malnutrition in chenchus. As a result 3 kgs of Rice, 1.5kgs of jowar, 0.5kgs of dal and 14 eggs per week particularly in respect of TB patients. The result is there for all to see, a drastic fall in TB cases after one year. As such no funds are available for this programme the work is stopped. But the necessity is still existing and need to be continued in the welfare of woman, children and TB patients. Even though it is a very highly successful and useful event, could not be continued for want of funds.
