Our Seva Kendram
Our Preliminary survey revealed that Chenchus lack cultural cohesion, self-confidence and Awareness. Inorder to boost up all these Qualities we conducted several events. As a first service activity in this direction we started with the chidren's education and started Bhaktha Kannappa Gurukulam(BKG) on 18th NOv 1999. BKG is a residential educational programme which include Genaral Eduaction upto X class and vocational Technical Training Viz.Carpentry, Rural Electrican, Engine Mechanic e.t.c. This programme helps in developing the Leadership and Entrepreneur Qualities, become the hub of the development in their villages.As a Second step we conducted "Awareness Camps " and " Short term Skill-development Training Programmes " to motivate them for Self development and development of their viallage. Healthcare Programmes are also being conducted in many villages. As a part of upliftment of Tribals and to bring them into the mainstream of the society, SSVVS Kendram has been orchestraing a concerted and sustained campaign.
